How we research, verify, and rank.

Pricing

Every price is taken directly from the provider's own public pricing page or checkout flow and dated on the page where it appears. We re-verify the full provider set monthly, and sooner when a provider announces a change.

Where a program advertises a promotional or first-month rate, we say so and give the ongoing rate. Where the price rises with dose escalation, we say so.

How we rank

We weigh five things, in this order:

1. Regulatory standing — FDA-approved medication, or compounded? Is the pharmacy named? Is the platform LegitScript-certified?
2. Total real cost — including membership fees, dose escalation, and shipping
3. Pricing transparency — can you see the full cost before handing over a card?
4. Clinical oversight — genuine provider review, follow-up, and titration support
5. Cancellation terms — how hard is it to leave?

Commissions do not buy rankings

We earn affiliate commissions from some providers. Commission rates are not an input to any ranking. In practice our top-rated options are frequently not our highest-paying ones, and we cover providers who pay us nothing when readers should know about them.

If we ever accept payment for placement, it will be labelled as such on the page.

Compounded medications

Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved and are not therapeutically equivalent to Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, or Zepbound. We label compounded programs clearly on every page and never present them as the brand-name product at a lower price.

Sources

We rely on primary sources: FDA announcements and warning letters, CMS documentation, published clinical trial results, and provider pricing pages. We link to them. Where evidence is thin or contested, we say that rather than picking a side.
